Long-term Report: Oztent RV-4

It has been two years since the Oztent RV-4 won the Editor’s Choice award in the Family Tent test (Fall 2008 issue) and it has seen plenty of action since. Traveling to various events including the Expedition Trophy 2008, Overland Expo 2009, and many camps with the Overland Training staff, it has served as guest quarters for the likes of Lois Pryce (of Lois on the Loose fame), Lisa Wood from ARB, and other adventurers, and my wife and I continue to use it even for quick getaways to some favorite spots less than 20 minutes from home. Aside from a missing zipper slide on the front awning (I still can’t figure that one out), and persistent poking and prodding from curious passersby, it’s no worse for the wear. . . Read more »
